The first of the events linked to the Living Memory Exhibition PartecipARTe was a success! During the evening all the participants shared a moment of encounter to celebrate the inauguration of the art project by Claudia Romagnoli (in art Croma) and reflect on the meaning of the project. The work, which is now located on one of the facades of the Mercato di Torre Spaccata, can be enjoyed by everyone.
Various representatives of CooperACTiva, Fusolab and LUISS took part in the debate that took place in the afternoon. The aim of the meeting was on the one hand to formulate proposals to 'unleash the potential of cultural heritage' to support the sustainable development of the territory, and on the other hand to explore the role of markets and new technologies in urban economic development.
Other speakers included members of the municipal and capitoline institutions, such as the Councillor for Economic Development of Roma Capitale, Andrea Coia; the Head of Strategic Management and Innovation, Department of Economic Development and Employment of Roma Capitale, Cristiano Alviti; and the President of the Council, Municipality VI of Roma Capitale, Alberto Ilaria. Together with them also representatives of the European project OpenHeritage (PhD Heike Oevermann) and LabGov.city (Arch. Sofia Croso Mazzuco).
The evening continued with musical performances by Dj Ceffo & Dj Brush, Il Turco, and Nitrus.
In addition to the members of CooperACTiva, some of some local entrepreneurs of the neighborhood, such as Il Pastaio and Felice Pizza, participated in the organization of the event, serving food in the refreshment areas around the Parco dei Romanisti.
The following day was held one of the many "Heritage Walks" organized over the past years by CooperACTiva in collaboration with the Community for Centocelle Park and other local associations, on the occasion of the European Heritage Days.
